When were you an attorney at Tressler?
I was a summer associate at Tressler in 1988 and an attorney at Tressler for 29 years.
How did your experiences at Tressler prepare you for your current role?
As a litigation partner and Executive Committee member at Tressler, I was constantly confronted with new and difficult problems. Problem solving at a break-neck speed has served me well in my new role at Tokio Marine HCC.
What advice would you give to current associates moving up the ranks at Tressler?
Work hard, but have fun. The best days at the office are ones that involve interesting projects, but some laughter as well.
What was your most memorable experience at Tressler?
There are too many memories over 29 years to identify just one.
Are you involved in any pro-bono or volunteer activities?
Tokio Marine HCC’s vision is “To be a Good Company” and it lives up to that vision every day. Among the activities I am involved with is Habitat for Humanity. Our group helped build a home in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood last fall. It was rewarding to see how life-changing this was for the new owners of the home.
