Marissa Finley is an associate in Tressler's Professional Liability Practice Group. She also works with the Insurance Services Practice Group and the Litigation Practice Group. Marissa focuses her practice on representing insurance companies in complex coverage litigation matters. This includes matters in multiple coverage lines, including professional liability, management liability, commercial general liability, excess exposures and extracontractual liability.
While in law school, Marissa held several law clerk positions at multiple law firms, externed for a domestic relations judge and worked as a student attorney in the pro bono law clinic at UIC Law. Marissa was also on the UIC Law Review Executive Board, where she was an editor.
Further, Marissa served on the Moot Court Honors Council where she was the Candidacy Director, keeping all of the moot court candidates on track with hours and ensured they arrived on time to Moot Court Council. Throughout all these impressive roles in law school, Marissa gained invaluable experience in various areas of the law.
