Employment Litigation and Counseling
Tressler’s Employment Litigation and Counseling Practice group has substantial experience in assisting clients with litigation and counseling clients on all aspects of the employer-employee relationship. Our attorneys advise employers on best practices concerning day-to-day employment matters, from hiring through termination, and assist clients in defending employment-related lawsuits, as well as claims filed before local, state and federal courts and administrative agencies, such as the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
We have successfully defended against claims of sexual harassment; discrimination based on age, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy, disability, race and national origin; whistleblowing; retaliation; wage and hour violations; wrongful termination; employee leaves and benefits; theft of confidential and proprietary trade secrets; as well as the defense of cases and arbitrations involving allegations of corporate raiding. We also have extensive experience defending class actions involving claims of wage and hour, misclassification, Private Attorney General Act (PAGA) and unfair competition.
