Our experienced team of appellate lawyers specializes in all facets of appellate work at the state and federal levels in jurisdictions nationwide. The Firm's appellate practice spans all areas of substantive and procedural law and includes Petitions to the highest courts of review in state court, as well as to the United States Supreme Court. Skilled advocates, our appellate attorneys excel at the effective presentation of oral argument to courts of review. Our appellate attorneys regularly work with trial counsel at the pre-trial, trial and post-trial phases of litigation so that our clients' cases are optimally postured for the best possible result at trial and have the best possible record for appeal in the event of adverse trial results. 

Our attorneys not only handle appeals generated from cases handled by the Firm, but are also retained to handle appeals involving significant or complex issues that were initially tried by in-house counsel or by other firms. We have also prepared Amicus briefs on substantive issues of public interest. The Firm's appellate attorneys are also retained to provide an objective review and evaluation of appellate cases for clients who are seeking a second opinion about the chance for success in an appeal when faced with adverse trial decisions. The Firm's appellate team includes attorneys who previously worked as clerks for state and federal appellate court judges, allowing us to provide unique insight regarding the appellate process that fosters valuable and practical consideration of all aspects of an appeal.
