Nicholas Daly Joins Tressler LLP’s Insurance Practice
August 10, 2016 – (Chicago) Associate Nicholas J. Daly has joined Tressler LLP’s Insurance practice and will be based out of the firm’s Chicago office. Daly is the fifth associate to join the firm since July, following Danielle A. Curtiss, Kathleen M. Hart, Anita Jahanban and Michael K. McDonough.
Daly focuses his practice in the areas of insurance coverage analysis, coverage litigation and reinsurance. Additionally, he has experience representing clients in litigation involving bankruptcy, creditors’ rights and municipal matters. He has represented clients in both state and federal courts throughout the United States. He has extensive experience in legal research and drafting coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, complaints, briefs, pre-trial motions, memoranda, discovery requests and responses to discovery. He has also appeared in alternative dispute resolution proceedings, including binding arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association.
Daly earned his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law and his B.A. in Criminal Justice from Western Michigan University. He is admitted to the bar in Illinois and Michigan. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
