Charles Diaz Joins Tressler’s Los Angeles Office
Tressler LLP is proud to welcome Charles Diaz as a partner in our Los Angeles office.
Charles (Chuck) Diaz specializes in complex civil litigation, including insurance coverage and environmental matters. His practice involves counseling clients at all stages of dispute, and he is frequently retained before a lawsuit is filed in an effort to effectively manage risk. Mr. Diaz has extensive experience representing clients in trial, arbitrations, mediations and all other types of alternative dispute resolution. Throughout his career, he has handled a wide array of litigated and non-litigated matters including complex insurance coverage disputes relating to environmental, toxic tort, product liability, construction defect, employment, reinsurance and bad faith claims under various types of policies. He has litigated in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels. He also provides coverage analysis, monitors claims and has assisted in drafting policy language, including scripted endorsements. Mr. Diaz works closely with his clients to achieve defined goals in the most cost-effective manner.

Prior to joining Tressler, Mr. Diaz worked at Archer Norris in the insurance coverage and litigation groups where he advised clients regarding high exposure complex claims and litigation concerning underlying asbestos, hazardous waste, pollution, chemical exposure, employment and tobacco matters, as well as first party property and product-recall claims throughout the country involving general liability, umbrella and excess policies. He has acted as national insurance coordinating counsel for a supplement product manufacturer and has assisted in the coordination of the defense of mass tort claims. Mr. Diaz has been recognized by Martindale-Hubbell with AV Preeminent Rating and appointed special counsel on insurance coverage issues in a complex U.S. District Court mass tort bankruptcy proceeding. Mr. Diaz received his J.D University of Southern California, Gould School of Law and earned his B.A. at Pitzer College, Claremont.
