He is also involved in counseling insurers with regard to claims arising under various federal and state statutes governing the protection of personal data.

Dan is Chairman of the firm. As a trial lawyer based in the firm’s Chicago office, Dan focuses his practice on business litigation and the resolution of business disputes through mediation and arbitration. Dan handles a wide variety of complex business litigation and counseling, including intellectual property, state and federal securities actions, anti-trust, ERISA, class actions and directors and officers liability matters. He has been lead trial counsel in bench and jury trials in state and federal courts throughout the United States.
Jennifer Jerit Johnson: Litigation – Insurance
Jennifer is a Partner and Co-Chair of our General Defense Litigation Practice Group. Jennifer is an experienced trial lawyer with over 30 years of experience in the courtroom. She represents individual, corporate and insurance clients in litigation matters involving product liability, toxic torts, asbestos, other torts, construction litigation, trucking lawsuits and insurance claims.
William McVisk: Insurance Law, Litigation – Insurance
Bill focuses his practice on complex insurance coverage litigation and hospital law and medical liability. He has handled all areas of coverage and bad faith litigation, especially third-party bad faith and coverage litigation involving commercial general liability, professional liability coverages as well as personal lines coverages such as auto and homeowners coverages.
Todd Schenk: Insurance Law, Litigation – Insurance
Todd is highly experienced in providing insurance coverage counseling and litigation representation to insurance companies. He is particularly skilled in handling third party claims involving advertising injury and product liability, and first party claims under residential and commercial property policies. Many of his cases require the defense of common law and statutory bad faith claims, which Todd litigates in venues around the country. He has also handled appeals in both state and federal courts around the country.

Charles Diaz: Insurance Law
Charles (Chuck) specializes in complex civil litigation, including insurance coverage and environmental matters. His practice involves counseling clients at all stages of dispute, and he is frequently retained before a lawsuit is filed in an effort to effectively manage risk. Chuck has extensive experience representing clients in trial, arbitrations, mediations and all other types of alternative dispute resolution. Throughout his career, he has handled a wide array of litigated and non-litigated matters including complex insurance coverage disputes relating to environmental, toxic tort, product liability, construction defect, employment, reinsurance and bad faith claims under various types of policies. He has litigated in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels. Mary is often brought in by insurers to assess and troubleshoot complex coverage issues in high exposure tort cases and assist them in reaching global settlements.

Patrick is a partner in the St. Louis Metro Area office of Tressler LLP. He concentrates his practice on the defense of civil litigation including toxic tort (asbestos, talc, and benzene), premises liability, product liability, commercial litigation, and insurance coverage issues. He also counsels clients and attorneys regarding cybersecurity and the use of technology in the law. Patrick has represented individuals, family-owned businesses and farms, and some of our country’s largest corporations.
