William McVisk Receives 2021 IDC President's Award

We are excited to announce that William McVisk has received the 2021 Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel (IDC) President’s Award. The prestigious award is presented annually, with honorees selected by the IDC President based on outstanding service to the association. 

"I am honored to receive this award, with Jennifer Groszek, from Nicole Milos, who succeeded me as IDC President," said William McVisk. "Nicole and Jennifer have both made tremendous contributions to the defense bar and the IDC, so it is an honor to be recognized."

Bill has been a long-term member of the IDC. He was the President of the IDC from 2019 to 2020 and has remained active on the Insurance Law Committee, the Legislative Committee and on the IDC Liaison Committee dealing with the Illinois Supreme COVID-19 Court Task Force. 

About William McVisk



Bill focuses his practice on complex insurance coverage litigation and hospital law and medical liability. He has handled all areas of coverage and bad faith litigation, especially third-party bad faith and coverage litigation involving commercial general liability, professional liability coverages as well as personal lines coverages such as auto and homeowners coverages. Bill served as President of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel from 2019 to 2020.
