Garrett Dudt Joins Tressler's Insurance Practice Group
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, October 27, 2021 - Tressler is excited to welcome Garrett Dudt to our Insurance Practice Group. Garrett's experience includes representing insurance carriers and insureds in a wide range of insurance coverage matters involving policies such as commercial general liability policies, commercial umbrella/excess policies, professional liability policies and business owners’ policies. His practice work consists mostly of analyzing insurance coverage issues, assessing insurance carriers’ risks and preparing coverage opinions and position letters.

Prior to joining Tressler, Garrett was a law clerk at a Pittsburgh firm where he revised and drafted sections of the textbook Divorce Taxation. He researched potential divorce settlement structures that would reduce the overall tax burden for clients. Garrett also worked as a law clerk for a large solar operations and management company, where he contributed to drafting a new licensing agreement and conducted due diligence research prior to the acquisition of a smaller solar panel installation company. While in law school, Garrett worked with the Duquesne Unemployment Compensations Clinic, where he obtained positive outcomes at numerous hearings for clients seeking unemployment compensation benefits.
Garrett received his B.A. from Washington and Jefferson College and his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law.
