Jill L. Jennings Promoted to Chief Operating Officer at Tressler LLP
We are proud to announce that Jill L. Jennings has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer at Tressler LLP. Jill has been an integral part of Tressler for decades, and we congratulate her on this achievement.
Jill joined Tressler as an associate attorney in 2002. Due to her great results for our clients and business development success, Jill made partner in 2007. She took time off to care for her daughter, Isabelle, in 2012-2016, returning as Director of Recruiting and Professional Development in 2016. Jill became Director of Legal Operations in 2018, and we are happy to now have her in the role of COO. Jill currently oversees information technology (IT) services, docket, hiring and recruiting, paralegals, law clerks and CLE/professional development activities for attorneys. In this new role, Jill will be more involved in optimizing our operations, business development and overall strategic planning as Tressler continues to grow.

Jill is part of Tressler’s all-female administrative leadership team that includes Anna Hanson as Chief Marketing Officer, Jennifer Keuker as Chief Financial Officer and Christine Wilson as Director of Human Resources.
Jill is passionate about giving back. She leads Tressler’s pro bono work with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, which involves meeting with potential clients the 2nd Saturday of each month. Outside of her excellent work at Tressler, Jill volunteers almost every Saturday with Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Indiana and has helped build 10 homes so far. Jill has an 11-year-old daughter, Isabelle, and she met her husband, Chris Johnson, while volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. They live in Northwest Indiana with three dogs, two rabbits and one guinea pig. Jill works from Tressler's Chicago Headquarters.
