Women's History Month Spotlight: Tressler Supports New Jersey Women Lawyers Association

In honor of Women's History Month, Tressler is highlighting organizations that support women in the field of law. Join us in celebrating the important work of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association (NJWLA).

NJWLA's mission is to advance and retain women of all backgrounds in the legal profession through education and activism. The organization aims to help promote qualified women to the highest levels of law firm, government, academic, community and corporate positions. NJWLA also works to endorse qualified female attorneys for appointments to the state and federal judiciary.

“I am proud to support this great organization," said Tressler Attorney Neli Kharbedia. "As a female lawyer not born in this country, choosing my career path was difficult and law school was definitely not easy. Had I known that the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association or similar organizations could provide mentorship and support, it would have been much easier to enter law school and succeed in the early stages of my career.”

Women's History Month Project Leader:



Neli Kharbedia is an associate attorney in the General Defense Litigation Practice Group at Tressler LLP. Neli is an active member of our national Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. She practices in our New Jersey and New York offices and is licensed in both states. Neli focuses her practice on litigating defense matters and insurance coverage disputes including various business lines. Neli also has experience handling the defense of commercial and construction litigation.
