David McGarr Joins Tressler's Chicago Office

Chicago, IL, May 22, 2023 - Tressler is pleased to welcome David McGarr as an associate attorney in our Insurance Practice Group. David focuses his practice on a wide range of insurance coverage and litigation matters. He is passionate about helping clients resolve matters efficiently and is committed to providing exceptional client service.

Prior to joining Tressler, David worked as a pool clerk for the Motion Judges of Cook County’s Law Division. In his role, he drafted various judicial orders and discussed with judges their impressions of current cases. This allowed him to gain a more intuitive knowledge of how the law applies to these matters not only in theory, but in everyday practice. 

While in law school, David was the President of Street Law, a student organization that empowers and educates high school students in Chicago. He was also a staff member for the Journal of Law and Social Policy. 

David received his B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis and his J.D. from Northwestern University.
