Marissa M. Finley Joins Tressler's Professional Liability Group

Tressler is excited to welcome Marissa M. Finley as an associate in our Professional Liability Practice Group in our Chicago office. She also works with the Insurance Services Practice Group and the Litigation Practice Group. Marissa focuses her practice on representing insurance companies in complex coverage litigation matters. This includes matters in multiple coverage lines, including professional liability, management liability, commercial general liability, excess exposures and extracontractual liability.

"I am thrilled to join Tressler and become a part of an amazing and united team in Chicago," said Marissa Finley. 

While in law school, Marissa held several law clerk positions at multiple law firms, externed for a domestic relations judge and worked as a student attorney in the pro bono law clinic at UIC Law. Marissa was also on the UIC Law Review Executive board, where she was an editor.

Further, Marissa served on the Moot Court Honors Council where she was the Candidacy Director, keeping all of the moot court candidates on track with hours and ensured they arrived on time to Moot Court Council. Throughout all these impressive roles in law school, Marissa gained invaluable experience in various areas of the law.

Marissa received her B.A. from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her J.D. with a Certificate in Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Law with Cum Laude honors.
