Ashley Pham is an associate in Tressler’s Labor & Employment Practice Group. Her practice area includes counseling and defending employers in all areas of labor and employment matters including discrimination, harassment and wage and hour claims.
Ashley received her J.D. from Chapman University, Fowler School of Law and currently works out of Tressler's Orange County office.

Laguna Niguel, CA.
What was your first job?
I was a professor’s assistant/student worker throughout college.
Do you have any hidden talents and/or unique hobbies?
I have a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, which took me six years to earn.
What is on your bucket list?
I’d like to buy a home in Saigon, travel there more often and re-establish some of my family’s roots in Vietnam. I first traveled to Vietnam two years ago and had the very touching opportunity to meet some relatives for the first time. Why did you decide to become an attorney?
I want to pursue a career that allows me to use the law to empower individuals and businesses to solve their problems and improve their communities.
Why did you choose your areas of practice?
Practicing employment law allows me to combine my degree in business and finance with my insurance defense background to counsel and enable employers in their enterprises.
What do you like most about Tressler?
It has been inspiring to witness, work with and learn from tremendously talented and gracious attorneys at Tressler – who I feel very honored to call my colleagues.
What are you most proud of, professionally and/or personally?
As a first-generation American, I am most proud of my family for persevering and achieving our very own American dream.
What was your favorite meal?
Afternoon tea at the Sketch in London, England as we were enveloped in a cloud of pink velvet and serenaded by an all-female orchestral string trio. It was heaven, basically.
What is a superpower you wish you possessed?
The ability to heal.

Clueless, Marie Antoinette and Midnight in Paris.
What is your favorite quote?
“The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.” – Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Do you have any funny stories to share?
At my summer legal internship after my first year of law school, I asked the partner what “facsimile” meant as I thought it was a Latin legal term and I had never previously used a fax machine. Please rest assured, I am much wiser now for knowing how to send my faxes.
