Tressler attorneys have helped several clients in need through an organization called Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS). Tressler is proud to support CVLS as the organization’s mission is to coordinate, support and promote the voluntary pro bono legal representation of the Chicago area’s underserved communities.
On the second Saturday of every month, Tressler attorneys volunteer to host a clinic though CVLS at the First Congregational Church of LaGrange. The church provides hot meals and donated clothing to the clients while Tressler listens to those who want to seek any type of advice.
The following attorneys have provided pro bono services through CVLS:
- Zachary Auslander
- Dibora Berhanu
- Durga Bharam
- Reginald Cloyd
- Andrea Davidson
- Stephen Grossmark
- Kathleen Hart
- John Huston
- Anita Jahanban
- Kevin Kearney
- William McVisk
- William Raysa
- Marshall Seeder
- Dennis Ventura
- Christine Walczak
- Stacey Wilkins
Tressler also supports CVLS and other organizations through the Investing in Justice Campaign every spring. The campaign rallies Chicago’s entire legal community around our common cause of ensuring that everyone has access to necessary legal help, not just people who can afford it. Contributions to the Campaign directly support the work of more than 30 pro bono and legal aid organizations and related initiatives, enabling them to provide critical legal assistance to tens of thousands of people in need.
