Where are you from?
I’m from Westminster, Maryland. It is a suburb located approximately 30 minutes northwest of Baltimore County.
What was your first job?
My first job was as a lifeguard at a lake in Carroll County. I worked at the lake during the summers throughout high school. It was a very busy spot for families, reunions and camps during the warmer months. Unfortunately, the lake suffered major structural damage after heavy flooding in 2018 and was subsequently sold.
Do you have any hidden talents and/or unique hobbies?
I rowed for a club team and was on the rowing team in college.
What is on your bucket list?
Before COVID, My husband and I planned a Mediterranean Cruise from Barcelona, Spain. The cruise proceeds through various ports in Italy and France. Unfortunately, our vacation has been put on hold due to the pandemic. When cruises resume and it is safe to do so, we will certainly resume our plans!
Scratching things off of our bucket list, In December 2019, we took a vacation to Las Vegas, rented a UTV and went off-roading for the day. In June 2020, we adopted a puppy, Ava. She absolutely loves the snow and rolls down the hill in our backyard when it’s snowing. Her boyfriend, Apollo, is a red golden retriever that lives next door.

Jenny's puppy, Ava.
Why did you decide to become an attorney?
According to my family, I was destined to be an attorney because I could pick a fight about anything. My father used to joke that I would argue just to hear myself talk.
Why did you choose your areas of practice?
There is never a dull moment in litigation. The practice of litigation is always changing and is strategic, like the game of chess. Both sides make carefully crafted moves in order to advance (or win). Litigation skills become finely tuned over time with practice and experience.
What do you like most about Tressler?
The people along with the opportunities to grow professionally.
What is your favorite meal?
Being from Maryland, I love all types of seafood. More specifically, my favorite food is Maryland blue crabs. Eating blue crabs is more of a social event. Family and friends gather around the table, laugh and share crabs (and beer).
What is the first concert you attended?
My older sister took me to go see Kelly Clarkson after she first won American Idol. If I look hard enough, I could probably find the concert shirt in my closet somewhere!
Make people laugh. Life is too short to be serious all the time. Laughter lightens burdens, inspires hope, connects us to others and keeps us more focused on the positive.
