Why did you decide to become an attorney?
It’s cliché, but I like to research and argue complex issues. I like winning those arguments even more.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
I’m in the office pretty much every day communicating with clients, prepping and taking depositions, issuing and answering written discovery and generally handling litigation matters.
Why did you choose your areas of practice?
I love writing and motion work, especially appellate work and dispositive motions, so insurance defense is a natural fit.
What do you like most about Tressler?
The supportive and collegial atmosphere as well as the focus on being responsive to client needs.
As an attorney, what accomplishment are you most proud of?
So far, it's winning summary judgment on a slip and fall case where the client had set aside a significant reserve. I am hoping to repeat that success soon.
Do you have any unique hobbies?
I love writing fiction and am working on a paranormal-horror novel based on the Mothman sightings that happened in Chicago in 2017.
