Where are you from?
I’m from Northbrook, Illinois, which is a suburb north of Chicago. I spent my college years in Madison, Wisconsin and then I moved to Chicago for law school and have been here ever since.
What was your first job?
I was a summer camp counselor with the Northbrook Park District. I took campers to the pool and on field trips weekly and probably had the best tan I think I’ll ever have.
Do you have any hidden talents and/or unique hobbies?
I’m fairly active; I run long distance a few times each week and I also horseback ride a few times each year. However, most people don’t know that I can also ice skate pretty well - spins and all.

What is on your bucket list?
My bucket list is filled with the next places I hope to travel to, including Italy, Thailand, Israel and Bali.
Before the pandemic, my husband and I traveled often and anywhere, from Paris to London, Sedona, D.C., Bermuda and more!

What does a typical workday look like for you?
My day typically consists of reviewing insurance policies, researching, drafting letters or pleadings, answering emails and talking with clients.
Why did you choose your areas of practice?
I find insurance coverage work to be intellectually stimulating and the fact that the underlying disputes can vary keeps the work interesting.
What do you like most about Tressler?
The people. Starting at a new firm in the middle of a pandemic was daunting, but the people at Tressler have been more than welcoming and have encouraged me to grow professionally.
I also like that there is a Starbucks in the building.
What is the first concert you attended?
Styx. I was six years old and my father brought me along. Since then, my love for concerts and live music has only grown.
Popcorn. I will eat an entire bag of SkinnyPop popcorn in record time.
What are you most proud of, professionally and/or personally?
My family and the close friendships I have made and maintained throughout my life.
