Juneteenth celebrates the emancipation of African Americans who were enslaved in the United States. This past year, Tressler LLP has re-committed to the condemnation of racism as our colleagues, our clients, our friends and our families feel its ugly legacy.
We stand in solidarity with the Black community on this important occasion and recognize the work to dismantle systemic racism is far from over. Tressler will continue to foster a safe and supportive space for the firm’s diverse workforce as we are essential to our ability to provide the highest quality of legal services and help dismantle racist policies and systems as well as advocate against injustice. The Tressler Diversity and Inclusion Committee continues to actively combat racism through its programs, dialogue and advocacy.
Today and every day, we encourage the celebration of Black American resilience and honor the contributions of Black Americans to this country. Juneteenth offers hope and importantly serves as a reminder to all that real change is challenging, but possible if we have the courage to see it through.
